Happy Friday!

The OM recital will be held on June 4th, from 1-3pm, at the Lutheran Church of the Ascension in Northfield. The recital is an important rite of passage in the life of any musician, young or old. It prepares you to perform in traditional and formal settings, at events and parties, at academic institutions, and at world-class performing facilities world wide. The recital is recommended for students who are focused on bringing a piece of music to performance level; playing with poise, with confidence and clarity, all in a supportive environment of family and friends.

The OM student showcase will be held on June 10th from 4-7 at Hometown Coffee & Juice in Glencoe. Student Showcase is an opportunity for our older and more experienced performers to expand their comfort zones and take an active role in their performance preparation. Students choose their own songs and either provide their own accompaniment, or actively work with their teachers to arrange accompaniment for their performance. The musical focus at the showcase is contemporary, spanning from Rock & Pop to RnB & Soul, Musical Theater, Country, Folk, and more. Original songs are also welcome! This years showcase will be held outdoors, weather permitting. Each student can perform 1-3 songs of their choice. Mics,  guitar,  keyboard, cajon, and PA system will be provided.

Talk to your teachers or email/call Rachel at the office to sign up!
