Soul Groove Vocal Ensemble – Teen/Adult Intermediate/Advanced

Step into the groove and sing with soul. Our Funk & Soul Vocal Ensemble is a high-energy, 10-week group class for singers ages 13 and up who want to develop powerful vocals, tight harmonies, and authentic feel while singing some of the most iconic music ever written. What We’ll Work On: -Group harmonies & vocal blending -Groove, timing, and syncopation -Funk & soul phrasing and stylistic authenticity -Call-and-response and background vocal techniques -Confidence, stage presence & performance skills Who It’s For: -Ages 13 and up -Singers with some prior vocal experience -Students who love singing with others and want to perform The ensemble will perform at Our Music Institute’s Funk & Soul Student Showcase, celebrating the work of the full 10-week session.
