Mainstage – Teen Performance Band

Take your music beyond the practice room and onto the stage!
Mainstage is Our Music Institute’s premier teen performance band program, designed for musicians ages 14 and up who are ready to take their playing to the next level.

This ongoing program gives students the opportunity to experience what it’s like to be part of a real working band. Under the guidance of a professional musician and instructor, students collaborate on song selection, learn arrangements, develop their individual musical abilities, and strengthen their skills as an ensemble.

Through weekly 90-minute rehearsals, students build confidence, improve their musicianship, and develop essential performance skills, including stage presence, musical communication, improvisation, and teamwork.

Mainstage musicians also have opportunities to perform live at OMi showcases and other special events throughout the year, gaining valuable experience playing in front of real audiences.

Whether you’re a guitarist, bassist, drummer, keyboardist, or vocalist, Mainstage is the perfect place to connect with other dedicated young musicians, expand your repertoire, and experience the excitement of making music together.

Join anytime, space permitting! Mainstage offers ongoing enrollment, allowing students to grow together as a band, explore new music, and prepare for exciting performances throughout the year.

Tuition is billed monthly based on the number of scheduled rehearsals. Showcase participation fees are separate. Recording studio sessions may be offered as optional additional experiences.
