ONSTAGE – OMi Band Program

Our band programs are a chance for students to play real music, collaborate with their peers, and perform in a fully produced concert—with a professional recording session to top it off!

Students will be placed into one of three bands based on their experience:
Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced. Each group rehearses on a different night of the week (please see schedules below).

Note: Students who miss more than two rehearsals will not be eligible to participate. All students must attend the dress rehearsal, live performance, and recording session—even if they’re feeling under the weather. These final experiences are essential to the success of the group.

🎶 Amped Up!
For kids who are just starting out and excited to explore what it means to play in a band. No experience necessary—we’ll guide them through learning an instrument and playing as a team.

🎵 Melodic Minds
For students who’ve been studying music for a while and are ready to push themselves further. This group will focus on developing ensemble skills, experimenting with more complex arrangements, and strengthening musical confidence.

🎧 MainStage – Advanced Teen to adult
For experienced students who demonstrate dexterity, creativity, and confidence on their instrument. Students in MainStage should be able to solo, improvise, and contribute musically at an advanced level. This group moves fast and works collaboratively to refine their sound.
