Noah Gehrmann

Noah is a Chicago-based musician and educator who has been playing guitar for 19 years. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Jazz Performance from the University of Illinois he began traveling internationally to perform on cruise ships before moving to Chicago in 2017. He started playing in local bands shortly thereafter and can now be heard performing with groups such as Safety Squad, Kamikazee Vigilante or the Scott Dubose band.

Noah is an educator fluent in a wide variety of styles ranging from jazz to rock to country. He centers his teaching approach around the unique musical interests of each student and believes that teaching songs of the student’s choosing can help to make the learning the process fun and productive.
